Our client was on the Harlem River with his crew team when they were hit by the Ready Jet Go. Our client was in the forward-most position (the number one seat of the boat) of the four rowers at the time of the impact. After the crew shell flipped, the three survivors surfaced but our client did not. They dove to find him but could not; police divers recovered his body from the bottom of the river three days later. The autopsy report indicated that he had suffered massive blunt head trauma and brain injury.
