$1.75 Million Medical Malpractice Settlement

This case involved a small child who was diagnosed with an optic nerve pathway glioma (a tumor) in 2006 resulting in severe optic atrophy in both eyes. The tumor was determined to be inoperable so the child endured several courses of chemotherapy. During the course of treatment his parents felt that their son was being improperly diagnosed and treated. All while he was suffering from extensive eye damage that has resulted in a severe visual disability.
