Attorney John David Simpson is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. In addition, he earned a business degree from Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry.  Attorney John David Simpson has over 25 years of broad and diverse legal experience which includes General Business, Corporate, Real Estate, Transactions, Litigation and Entertainment. His client list includes small and medium sized businesses as well as scores of individuals. Most recently, Mr. Simpson was a partner at the Law Firm of Simpson, Morton and Cross PLLC, a minority owned law firm in the City of Detroit.

John David Simpson has over 20 years of judicial and quasi-judicial experience. In 2008, he was appointed as the first African American male Magistrate of the 46th District Court in Oakland County and has previously served as an Administrative Hearing Officer.

Over the years, Mr. Simpson has been able to leverage his broad based legal expertise and business acumen to become a successful entrepreneur creating business ventures in the professional services, entertainment and hospitality industries. Mr. Simpson’s business and entrepreneurial experience add a unique and practical dimension to his law practice that brings added value to his clients.
