For toxic dust inhalation injuries sustained by Ground Zero rescue and recovery workers who were at the Fresh Kills landfill site. These workers inhaled fumes from the wreckage that had been deposited at the landfill. They did not utilize the proper safety equipment to protect themselves from inhaling the hazardous particles that emanated from the debris that was kept at the site.
