Our client, an experienced factory worker, was using a hot stamping machine during the course of his employment when the machine malfunctioned and abruptly descended onto his hands. The burns and injuries necessitated a skin harvesting procedure where a tangential excision and split-thickness autograft were taken from the right thigh to the bilateral hands.
