$300,000 Slip and Fall Settlement

April 9, 2024

Our client tripped and fell on a defect in the middle of the street while walking her dog.  The City of NY moved for summary judgment alleging that they had no prior notice of the defect. We were able to defeat the motion while proving that the City did in fact have notice of the subject matter defect.  Our client sustained a fractured ankle as a result of her fall.
