Former State Representative and current Napoli Shkolnik Partner  Hank Naughton was interviewed by the Telegram & Gazette regarding the current situation in the country. Naughton served in an active-duty U.S. Army unit in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2012.  He was a member of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division that, he said, established a court system in southern Kandahar Province. He says he is "devastated" by the chaos there now. He also noted the unit helped form Afghanistan’s first women’s shelter, located in Kandahar. Naughton was told last week the shelter no longer exists. He's concerned about what will happen to women's rights under the Taliban. Télécharger
