Napoli Shkolnik has filed a federal lawsuit, which may become a class action, in the Western District of North Carolina, Statesville Division against online car dealership Carvana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lawsuit states, \u201cCarvana portrays a vast catalog of options with the availability of the exact model the consumer wants. Carvana deceptively does this since it advertises it has units available within a specific country or area\u2014such as Hickory\u2014where it does not have a licensed dealership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
North Carolina-based Napoli Shkolnik attorney Nevin Wisnoski<\/a> has shared, \u201cLegitimate used-car dealers in North Carolina and across the country have suffered direct financial and competitive harm due to an inability to lawfully compete with Carvana\u2019s illicitly obtained market advantages\u2014which hurt both market competitors and the broader consuming public.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
