Teva, Allergan Finalize Multibillion-Dollar Global Opioid Deals
22. November 2022
Drugmakers Teva and Allergan have agreed to a global deal, $4.25 billion and $2.02 billion respectively, to end allegations they contributed to the nation’s opioid crisis by misleading addiction risks.
"The settlements mean nothing if we don't get robust participation at the state and local level, so now that the very complicated papers are inked, we turn to secure the required level of participation so that funds can flow to our nation's communities," Jäger Shkolnik said in a statement.
